SIMULARITIES BETWEEN HOSPITALITY/HOTEL AND MULTI-FAMILY PROJECTS

There are big differences too! Hospitality projects exist to serve the guest on-the-go! The “back of house”….the support facilities, kitchens, laundry, staff rooms and  ballrooms create levels of mechanical complexity and ruggedness as well as luxurious finish details seldom found in other facilities.

Arctic has in-house experience with Hotel systems and finish and has provided our HVAC installation or retrofit services for everything from general indoor comfort systems, kitchen and servery systems, smoke and atrium exhaust systems, type 1 kitchen exhaust,  elevator and stairwell pressurization and guest room HVAC to entire hotel “dry side” mechanical construction or remodel.

Arctic has performed every conceivable type of hotel/hospitality project from small boutique and expansive new facilities, to historic renovations. We also perform small projects and mechanical maintenance for a number of Portland hotels. We know the challenges of working in operating facilities and have learned how to mitigate the impacts to their operation.
